2+1 Kontra Alta Presyon Mass BP Taking
3-day mass BP taking aimed at identifying individuals with elevated blood pressure, diagnosing them with hypertension and providing Hypertension Medi-cards to be used for their monthly maintenance medications at the RHU.
WHY 2+1?
For the first 2 days, individuals with elevated blood pressures shall be identified
on the last day, these individuals shall be assessed and diagnosed with hypertension, with the help of licensed physicians.
Out of 239 who attended the event, 93 individuals were identified to have elevated blood pressure. Of the 93, 64 were already known hypertensives prior to the event while 29 are newly identified cases of hypertension.
